The Katharina Garni was a great find for my husband and me. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area on top of a hill, offering beautiful views of the hills of Tubingen. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. The breakfast spread was delightful, with delicious German cold cuts and rolls that we couldn't get enough of.

Very comfortable beds - slept so well. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast is typical Continental style and a very adequate start to the day. Our room was on the ground floor so had no balcony. I would definitely return.

Our bathroom had a frosted glass sliding door which meant you could see the person who was using the toilet - quite odd. I am not sure if this is the case for all rooms but if you do not know your travelling partner well it could be quite an awkward experience! The walk into Tubingen involves walking down quite a steep hill of steps and path so if you are a little uneasy on your feet you may need to take a taxi or the bus.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed and beautiful views of the surrounding area. We enjoyed the free high-speed internet and the delicious breakfast spread every morning.

Small typically family run hotel/garni, 10 minutes walk from the old center of Tübingen.

During my recent stay at Hotel Katharina Garni, I was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful and green surroundings of the hotel. Situated in a quiet residential area, I enjoyed the tranquility and found it easy to sleep well. The hotel room itself was spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and a nice wooden bureau. I particularly loved the spacious balcony that offered a lovely view.

The hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful, even when we were using our less than good German. We enjoyed the breakfasts, which were plentiful. The bathroom was large for a European hotel.

Our stay was comfortable and peaceful. The location was ideal with easy access to downtown via a gentle downhill walk. The hotel was situated in a lovely residential neighborhood on top of a hill and was close to the bus station. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, beautiful balconies, and superb bathrooms. The breakfast was first-rate, and the service was always attentive. We particularly appreciated the wonderful green surroundings and quiet atmosphere.

There was poor illumination in some areas of the hotel.

The guest house had a hotel-like price. The room and bed were comfortable. Tubingen's shops were fantastic. The balcony was a nice addition.
